Okay so I've fallen down on the job...

I'm failing at posting daily, but it's not like I made any promises.

I got to a point today where I realized that I actually think that I want to do Merchandise more than I want to do Entertainment. Is that weird? Now I'll probably get an email that says I made it and I'll be all like, "NOOOO!" Okay not really. I'd be fine, but I'm pretty darn excited about Merchandise. Like really excited. WOO! Yeah. Sorry.

On an un-Disney related note (shocking, I know) I'm about to combust because I'm so tired of people acting like they know more than everyone else. It doesn't matter what it is. It seems like lately everyone is doing it with everything. Just chill out. No one cares how smart you think you are. Ouch. That sounded mean. I don't want to be mean. I really don't. It's just rubbing me the wrong way and if I didn't say something about it I was going to go insane.

I am waking up tomorrow to do a complete clean-out of my room. I'm pretty excited about it (which is weird). There's so much stuff I need to just throw or give away. I need to create storage space for the stuff I actually use. It also will make packing a lot easier... I hope.

Both my teams lost their rival games. I can't be mad at Auburn, but Tech played like a bad high school team. Just thought I'd throw in that fun fact.

Tip of the day (which from now on will be entitled "What I Learned Today"): Wait for automatic doors to open all the way before attempting to walk through them... especially when carrying boxes of your grandmother's stuff.

So apparently...

People are getting their emails today left and right (acceptance emails, that is). So I take that to mean that because my status hasn't changed and because I have not received an email that I didn't make the cut. Onward with Merchandise!

I saw people talking about requesting specific restaurants for FSFB... does anyone know if you can request a location for Merchandise? Also, people were referring to contacting their recruiter. Should I have a specific recruiter/contact information for that person? I don't...

I have done one load of laundry. Oops. Only like 7 more to go. How do I even have that many clothes? Ridiculous. I've been trying to hardcore clean my room, though, because I can't comprehend packing when everything is out of order. There is no way I'll be equipped to pack for 4 months unless my room is practically spotless. Or practically perfect in every way. Whichever happens first.

It's hard to do things I need to do when the Disney World episode of Full House is on. The best part is the horrible music that sounds nothing like the music in the parks.

Tip of the day: Don't wait until all your clothes are dirty to wash them. It's overwhelming, ridiculous, and hard to put outfits together.

So am I still waiting?

Yes. I am. (I also couldn't pass up the chance for a Sum 41 reference.)

This wait is ridiculous. Crazy. Frustrating. All of the above. I'm tired of being a slave to my inbox. Just tell me already, dang it. I also really don't like the fact that people's statuses are just getting switched without an email. It just all seems poorly organized. It's also a pain to go log in and check my status mixed in with checking my email nonstop. I could always stop checking, but where's the fun in that?

On a random note, I literally am out of normal clothes to wear. It has been THAT long since I have done laundry. I am down to pajamas and summer clothes. It's sad.

On another random note, I bought my bedding. It's from IKEA and it looks like this, except for it's the twin size one. It looks better in person. The other one I liked turned out to look stupid in real life, so yeah.

I really do need to do laundry so I'm going to go do that, but I'm going to leave you with my tip for the day (which I'm going to start doing because I'm planning on posting daily now because I have nothing better to do). I don't have real tips that are useful to everyone, so I'll just share things that I have learned from experience.

Tip of the day: Don't kill a wasp and leave said wasp on your floor. If you do leave it there, don't walk around barefoot. You might think you can avoid it but you will eventually forget and wind up with a stinger in your foot. Trust me on this one.

Bump potential...

I no longer have a potential roommate- I have an official one.

She's awesome and I'm so excited.

I spent over 2 hours looking at bedding tonight. The best part was that Chris and Ivy helped me and made it so much more fun. I keep having random freak out moments because I just can't contain my excitement anymore.

YAY!

I am getting seriously excited.

I have a potential roommate who is totally awesome and I'm "meeting" all kinds of people online that I can't wait to meet for real down in Florida.

So pumped to get to be around awesome people at my favorite place in the world while getting to help create magic for people! :DD

But I didn't ever link my BFF Christine. :)
She's doing Spring Advantage and you can find her blog here.
So check it out.

10 Things I Hate About... Oh Wait That's Wrong

More like 10 things that are random facts about me. Christine just did this and now I want to because I am such a follower. :D

1. If you doubt my lifelong love for Disney, just go watch my home videos. I just watched them for the first time and the history of my obsession is staggering.

2. Another history of mine that is staggering is the amount of times I am eating when shown in home movies. Pringles, corn, sandwiches, etc. 90% of the time there is food in my mouth.

3. I get sick. It's what I do. I currently have a double ear infection/sinus infection. Whatevs.

4. The Disneyland Fun Sing Along video is one of my favorite things ever. I fall asleep watching it frequently and I could sing the entire video from start to finish for you including all the dialog in between songs. (Side note: I've never been to Disneyland.)

5. I don't care if it's not what 20 year olds do- I like to color.

6. I am a voracious reader. Anything and everything works for me. I love classics but my guilty pleasure is teen/young adult fiction. Yeah.

7. Unless it is Halloween or I'm expecting a pizza I will never answer the door if the doorbell rings. I'm just saying.

8. Most of the time that my away message is up I'm online. Most of the time my away message is not up, I'm away from my computer.

9. I like math. Rather, I love math.

10. I listen to Christmas music year-round, but when people put up decorations the day after Halloween I get angry. I'm such a hypocrite.

The end.

I feel badly

for not updating anything, but there isn't much to update right now. :)

I paid my program fee, so my spot is definitely reserved and it's official now. I guess that's an update. Still just hanging out and waiting to hear about the audition. I don't even really care THAT much either way. I just want to know. Ha.

You'll know as soon as I do.

Can I tell you how excited I am?

I now have the capability to update from my iPod. Win. I love apps.

Also, "When You Wish Upon a Star" is playing on my tv right now. How fitting. :)

Auditioning.

As it turns out, the amount of nervous I was while writing that last entry was the peak of my nervousness. I actually got less and less nervous as the day went on up to the point where I really wasn't nervous at all for the judging part of the audition. Which, I don't know, I mean I kind of like having nervous energy, but oh well.

The audition was a blast. I got to jump around like an idiot and make a fool of myself to Camp Rock music. It was like having a dance party in my room, but with other people. It was nice.

Now I wait 2-3 weeks. But maybe it'll be faster like when they said my interview results would take 2-3 weeks and they took 1 on the dot.

Also, Christine got her invitation yesterday for Merchandise and accepted it. So basically we're awesome. Even if I'm Spring and she's Spring Advantage, it still is the most exciting thing I've heard in awhile. We screamed and hugged each other in my car and it was like a movie. Haha.

Time to play the waiting game (and to pay my program fee... oops). There will be an update when I have one. :)

I am going to Disney World.

:)

As of now (and by as of now I mean as of October 28) I am Merchandise for Spring 2010. I have a character audition today, which is kind of freaking me out, haha. I'll have to update afterwards to provide anything resembling details because I'm a little too nervous to be anything but distracted right now (not that I know any details about the audition yet anyway).

To everyone else auditioning today and this week, break a leg!
